‘Creu Cynnydd – Creating Progress’

Mae Theatr Spectacle wrth eu bodd yn cyhoeddi y byddant yn lansio’n swyddogol y prosiect ‘Creu Cynnydd – Creu Cynnydd’ yn The Arts Factory, Ferndale, ar 8fed Hydref 2018 am 7y/h.

Nod y prosiect hwn yw cefnogi pobl ifanc 11-25 oed gydag anghenion iechyd meddwl ac emosiynol, trwy ddefnyddio creadigrwydd ac yn cefnogi ffocws Diwrnod Iechyd Meddwl y Byd 2018 – Pobl Ifanc ac Iechyd Meddwl mewn byd sy’n newid.

Dros y tair blynedd nesaf, bydd y gwasanaeth integredig hwn, sy’n cynnwys gweithdai a pherfformiad creadigol, yn galluogi pobl ifanc

  • i ddatblygu gwydnwch
  • dysgu i reoli sefyllfaoedd o straen
  • lleihau ynysiad cymdeithasol
  • cynyddu cyfleoedd ar gyfer creadigrwydd

Bydd Spectacle yn darparu

  • grwpiau craidd wythnosol
  • cyfleoedd gwirfoddoli
  • mynediad i weithdai allgymorth, hyfforddiant a pherfformiadau

Bydd y prosiect yn cael ei gyflwyno yn Gymraeg a Saesneg. Mae’r prosiect yn cael ei ariannu gan y Loteri Fawr ac mae’n cynnwys gweithio mewn partneriaeth â yr Arts Factory Ferndale, New Horizons, People and Work a Create your Space.

Nod y prosiect yw i alluogi pobl ifanc yn RCT i gymryd rhan lawn wrth lunio a thrawsnewid gwasanaethau sy’n ymwneud ag iechyd meddwl, bwlio a hunan-niweidio. Yn hybu’r Gymuned i fod yn fwy deallus a chefnogol ag i ymddiried mewn pobl ifanc i ddylunio eu dyfodol eu hunain.

Spectacle Theatre Ltd, elusen fach a sefydlwyd yn y Rhondda ym 1979, wedi datblygu i fod yn gwmni rhyngwladol sy’n arbenigo mewn celfyddydau cyfranogol.

Creating Progress – Creu Cynnydd

                 Spectacle Theatre officially launch ‘Creating Progress- Creu Cynnydd’

Spectacle Theatre are delighted to announce that they will officially launch the ‘Creating Progress – Creu Cynnydd ‘project at The Arts Factory Ferndale on 8th of October 2018 at 7PM.

This project aims to support young people aged 11-25 with mental and emotional health needs, through using creativity and supports the focus of World Mental Health Day 2018 – Young People and Mental Health in a changing world.

Over the next three years, this integrated service, consisting of creative workshops and performance will enable young people

  • to develop resilience
  • learn to manage stressful situations
  • decrease social isolation
  • increase opportunities for creativity

Spectacle will provide

  • weekly core groups
  • volunteering opportunities
  • access to outreach workshops, training and performance

 

The project will be delivered in Welsh and English. The project is funded by the Big Lottery and involves partnership working with The Arts Factory Ferndale, New Horizons, People and Work and Create Your Space.

 

We aim for the project to enable young people in RCT to be fully involved in shaping and transforming services around mental health, bullying and self- harm. We want the Community to be more understanding and have a greater trust in young people designing their own future.
