Quite simply what Spectacle means by Participatory Theatre is ‘the agreement to work through invented and agreed fiction’. The ‘agreement ‘is an integral part of our work and has to be worked for through negotiation, inclusion, challenge and a willingness to be truthful. When invited we aim to go to and work with people whoever they or wherever they are in a non-judgemental and inclusive way.
