This interactive one day workshop is intended for new or experienced facilitators wanting to develop and/or improve their facilitation skills. It provides you with fundamental facilitation tools and a structured process that can be applied to any type of facilitated session, whether it is workshop on exploring themes such as ‘healthy relationships ‘, a planning session, community-based meeting, an idea generating session, or any kind of meeting that you want to be meaningful and productive.

This highly interactive workshop will cover the following areas:

  • Preparation and engagement
  • Ground rules and ice breakers
  • Content areas and pausing
  • Outcomes, completing and closing
  • How to embrace resistance and promote resilience
Facilitation Training

Who is it for?
For anyone who needs to guide a group through the process of achieving its goals. Whether you are a team leader, team member, manager, or simply interested in making your sessions memorable, fun and effective, this highly interactive workshop will provide you with the skills you need to make a significant contribution to your organisation.

The workshop will be delivered by
Steve Davis and Carys Parry, award winning theatre directors and workshop facilitators who have facilitated groups in many different contexts( prisons, schools, residential homes, community centres, theatre venues, on the street ) with groups such as young offenders, professional theatre practitioners, people with dementia or with special education needs , families and children , the elderly , those disengaged with society.
